On Sunday March 15th 16 shooters braved the “VIRUS” to attend the final shoot of the season at the Sherwood Archery/Airgun club near Steubenville Ohio. Attendance was cut from more than thirty registered shooters to only 16 by the Virus scare on Sunday. Can’t blame anyone for staying home!! We probably should have cancelled it mid-week but I decided to let the shooters decide what they felt comfortable with!!
A few new faces were in attendance this time as has been the case at the shoots this year. Welcome to Dave Kovach and Bill McCracken from N.O.A. club and to Tim Swan from the C.O.A. club near Columbus, you all shot well for never having shot this format before!! Hope to see you all back next year!!
When the shooting was completed, Al Duster was the clear winner again in the spring piston division with Kenny Deisch taking second this time. Rick Smelko was at the top of the list on the PCP board with Dave Campbell a close second and David Hitchcock right behind placing third! Congratulations to all the winners and podium finishers!!
