Our Club is Moving!
Ohio Airgun and Field Target Shooters Association (O.A.F.T.S.A.) is moving to a new venue. We will no longer be holding our matches at Crooked Creek Conservation Club. Our new venue is Twin Oaks Air Rifle Range located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. The property is privately owned with the landowner living in a residence on site. We have been graciously offered the use of portions of his property to set up our field target courses.
The property has the potential for us to have a couple of woods courses as well as an all open field course. There will be much more sight in range area compared to Crooked Creek. As an added bonus, we will have the use of an enclosed meeting building where we can hold our after-match lunches and awards ceremonies including the use of a large monitor to display lane assignments and final scores.
For those interested in how far of a drive the new location will be from your home, the address is 9911 Shadow Wood Circle, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023
In conjunction with the move to a new location, we have changed the name of our club to Northeast Ohio Airgunners (N.O.A.). Our website has been changed to reflect the new name and has taken on a more modern look with a fresh logo as well. The site should be online in a week or so.
Our match schedule has remained the same. It is listed on our current website but in case you haven’t seen it yet, here it is:
May 20, 2018,
June 17, 2018,
July 15, 2018,
August 19, 2018,
September 16, 2018, and
October 21, 2018.
Match start times remain the same at 10:30 am with the sight in time starting at 8:00 am.
We hope to see you all in May at our new location. After a long cold winter, this field target season is gearing up to be great with the excitement of new courses and wonderful airgun camaraderie.
